The book contains a lot of historical, genealogical and other material on Portsmouth. With a handy list of names at the rear, great for genealogy purposes. In near fine condition, no wear at all, an 1893 inked Christmas inscription. How can a book dated 1894 have an 1893 inscription? Because publishers often dated books ahead in this era, for longer shelf life.Also, we are including The illustrated edition of The Story of a Bad Boy by Thomas Bailey Aldrich, with illustrations by A.B.
